So have you notice that there some words that you just don't understand when reading a book. Like other day I was reading an article and I came upon this word that made me quell. So tried to bypass this word and keep on reading but it got to me so I had to know. So this word was jejune which means a lack of interest and there was lots of words that had me ambiguous. There some word I still got to look up but that's the fun that its a mystery. Its always good to learn new words to
I agree Jesus words do make us stumble and make us not understand some things. That's why we search it and learn something new. By doing this it helps us understand more things.
ReplyDeleteThat what happens to me sometimes I don't get some words when I read in my English class. But when people don't get what the word means the teacher look it up and say what it mean. Some words are hard to understand because they use it in different ways.

ReplyDeleteI agree sometimes when I'm reading a book I see a word I don't understand and I look it up on goggle. I don't really like skipping the word because they I don't understand very well the sentence. I like it sometimes because it help us learn new words and increase our vocabulary.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you Jesus. It also helps you in many ways like communicating and building your vocabulary. You can also benefit off of them and won't struggle in the future.
ReplyDeleteJesus, I totally agree with you regarding learning new words. It is fun to learn the meaning of new words, especially when you get to try them out on people to see the reactions. In addition, expanding our vocabulary helps us to make our writing and conversations even more invigorating. I thought you did a good job of incorporating new words into your writing this post. Just be careful in future posts to carefully check your sentences before publishing. I recommend that you write the post in a word processing program that has grammar check because you did leave out a few words that may or may not change the meaning of your writing. Proofread carefully!
